(ADOPTABLES)

Peninsula Friends of Animals makes every effort to keep this page current, but it is possible for a specific cat to be adopted between the time you see one and the time it takes to make an appointment at the shelter. You can have your choice of loyal pet for 15 or more years. Gray, black, alley-mix, Siamese-mix, assorted colors of all kinds--call to make an appointment to see an animal that needs your loving home. All are spayed or neutered and have had their shots. We ask for a $75 donation at the time of adoption to help defray the expenses associated with their rescue, shots, vet check, and spay/neuter surgery.
Call PFOA at 360-452-0414, and a volunteer will return your call.

piper
PIPER is a tuxedo mama, now spayed. She's a fluffy darling who has been housed with several other cats so she will do fine in a multi-cat household. She would love to bond with her new human and get gently brushed on a daily basis. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to see Piper.
lucinda
Petite LUCINDA is a bit surprised to find herself in this shelter. She's about a year old and her people had to give her up. She's extremely lovable and has been well socialized. She's a purr-fect kitty is so many ways! Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to see her.
iris
IRIS is a beautiful longhair gray tabby kitty with a winning purr-sonality. She needs a bit of coaxing but loves to be held and will become someone's darling lapcat, once she gets used to her new family. Call 360-452-0414 to make an appointment to see Iris.
ace
ACE is black with a little white spot on his chest. He's got extra toes on his front feet. He was a stray who tried to call a hardware store his home. This little sweet boy is looking for his very own family to love. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Ace.
piper
HATTIE wears a tabby coat of many colors. She will be happiest in a one-kitty home. Those volunteers who have lavished attention on her have been rewarded with non-stop purring. To see this colorful, quiet lass, call 360-452-0414 and leave a message.
ms.red
MS. RED is a very friendly orange tabby cat. She's about two years old now and has a cauliflower ear which resulted from a bad case of untreated earmites. The mites are gone but the ear will never be its former self again, sad to say. Ms. Red is gregarious, affectionate, and good with other cats, too. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to see Ms. Red. She's waiting patiently for that family which she just knows is out there for her, checking the door every time anyone comes in.
Morris
MORRIS is, as expected, a delightful orange tabby neutered male. He would be a TV star but that role was taken. So he is enjoying his cat room and waiting for his forever family to take him home. He will know you when you get there. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Morris.
carrie
CARRIE is a shorthair calico. Her family could no longer keep her. She's a spayed adult sweetie who gets along with other cats, but knows her own mind, and is probably an alpha cat--keep that in mind if you have other cats. She does like to have your undivided attention, and will tell you when. Please call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to see Carrie and a volunteer will get back to you.
martha
MARTHA spent most of her first year and a half in a windowless warehouse where she was treated well but wasn't exposed to much daylight or many people. She is now a very serene and accepting 7-year-old cat. Martha "talks" to the volunteers who regularly visit her.She would be a wonderful companion to an older person, who could spend some time with her every day. She will thrive on the attention and give back lots of love and purrs. Please call PFOA at 360-452-0414 to learn more about Martha.
Baker
BAKER is one of JohnBoy's brothers. There were four males and only one female (JoBeth) in this litter. They came to the shelter from a difficult situation and are making a long journey to learn to trust again. Baker has come very far and is an outgoing lad these days. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about lively Baker.
Fagin
FAGIN is a green-eyed, short-haired black male who can best be described as a "big lug" full of love. He "head butts" and leans into his human and feline friends to show his affection. He likes brushing and belly rubs on occasion, too. Fagin and Thistle are a dynamic duo who know how to pull at your heartstrings. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about adopting Fagin.
Thistle
THISTLE is a sleek, poly-dactyl neutered male, 5 years of age. He has magnificent copper colored eyes and a sweet expression that will melt you. He enjoys seeking you out for affection. His brother Fagin joins him to make a great team. Fagin is Thistle's "rock" and brings the best out in him. Thistle especially enjoys sitting on the back of the couch, both for the view and the closeness to his human friends. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Thistle.
JoBeth
JOBETH is the little sister to four males. She's a bit shy yet, but has come quite far in her recovery, thanks to many volunteers who teach her that humans can be her friends. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about sweet JoBeth or her brothers.
Bennett
BENNETT is still a very shy kitty, perhaps the most shy one in the litter, and so will need compassionate TLC. He really does want it; when we pick him up he surrenders with a purr, and allows petting and loving moments. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about quiet Bennett.
Becket
BECKETT is the mostly gray brother. He's gone beyond just playing with family members and enjoys the other cats in his room now. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about inquisitive Beckett.
Jefferson
JEFFERSON is a good sized adult flame-point Siamese. He had been the center of attention in his old home and since that family is growing, he needed to find a new place to live. He does like to be the only "baby." Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Jefferson.
Leda
LEDA is a striking gray tabby cat---her coloration is very strong. She's a beautiful shorthair. She is an adult now, and will be a delightful companion cat. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Leda.
Bailey
BAILEY--- This lovely tortoise-shell youngster is a medium-hair beauty. Bailey has had her shots and has been spayed. She likes other cats and enjoys playing with them. These young cats are so well suited for adoption right now. Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Bailey.
Dandelion
DANDELION is ready to start the next chapter of his life. This 5-year-old neutered silver tabby enjoys being brushed and fussed over on his own terms. He especially likes to greet his friends at eye level. "Dandy" performs tricks in hopes of getting accolades from his human audience. He is a true "dandy" with many girl cats. He requires a special diet for his gums and teeth, along with some additional care. One couldn't ask for a more loving feller! Call 360-452-0414 and leave a message to find out more about Dandelion.
