The Staff & Volunteers of Peninsula Friends of Animals
PFOA is fortunate to have a very hard working team of staff
who keep things running smoothly from day to day.
Shelter Director - Nancy Campbell is responsible for the overall operation of the shelter and the health and well-being of the animals. She intakes all of the animals, does the adoption counseling and oversees adoptions. She also job-shares as a Shelter Manager 3 days a week.
Business Manager - Sherry Gyovai manages all of the accounting and records. She is a full time employee, who oversees the volunteers and all of the details involved in the day to day organization of Safe Haven.
Animal Care Specialist - Linda Hebert is responsible for the general cleaning of the shelter, opening and closing duties, and feeding and medicating the animals. She is a full time employee who also lives at the shelter. She is fondly thought of as the kitty dorm mom and has "Tent Saturday" for the shelter kitties.
Shelter Manager - Patti Knodel is one of our three job-sharing shelter managers. She updates the animals' medical records. She is also our kitten coordinator, who arranges for foster homes and care of our littlest charges until they are ready to come to the shelter.
Shelter Manager - Della Floyd is another of our shelter managers who oversees the care of our cats and does some of the mountains of paperwork required at a shelter. She also closes the shelter (when Linda is off) and fills in whenever she is needed.
Animal Technician/Cleaner - Betsy Fullerton opens and closes the shelter, cleans, feeds and medicates the cats. She also gives shots, trims nails, and grooms those cats that need it.
Supervisory Staff - Tippy (the new administrator of Face Book!)

Volunteers are such an important part of Safe Haven. They perform many of the office and maintenance tasks at the shelter. They also socialize the cats and help them to be more adoptable so they can find their forever homes. We are so grateful to all of you for all you do. Here are some
pictures of a few of our many wonderful volunteers.
