Giaco is a very handsome, young adult tabby who was a stray found in Gig Harbor, and taken to Kitsap Humane Society. He has lived strictly indoors since he was adopted from Kitsap about four years ago. Sadly, his human dad passed a short time ago, and his mom has asthma and is allergic to cats.  And so Giaco, originally named Giacomo and now affectionately called “Jocko,” came to Safe Haven to find a new forever home.

He needs to be an only cat, as he has not been around other animals, and has stated, in unmistakable catspeak, that he wishes to remain in a single cat family.  He is loyal to family members, and is shy with strangers, until he gets to know them. Once he feels comfortable , he will follow people around and interact with them.  He likes to be brushed, as long as it’s not on his tummy! He will make a great companion for a family with no other animals.
