This poor girl was left behind on a property that had foreclosed. The homeless people that were previously living there were trying to keep up with feeding her. Then the property owner threatened to have them arrested if they kept coming on the property and feeding her.

They grabbed her and tried a few other shelters that turned them away and finally made it to PFOA in late evening and pouring down rain.

She was so thin and basically going to starve to death if left on the property. Pepper was in desperate need of being rescued. She is a survivor!

We are still working with her to see her true personality. She has been nothing but sweet and loves her food since we’ve had her. It will be interesting to see her blossom with the comfort of food, a warm place, and love.

Pepper will need to be on a special kidney prescription diet.
