OUR POTHOLDER TEAM

Do you like to sew, have some free time, and love animals? Are you interested in joining a group of friends who make Purr-Fect Pot Holders to benefit Peninsula Friends of Animals no-kill shelter?

The money we raise by making and selling our pot holders helps support PFOA’s feline shelter, their pet food bank, and their outreach and adoption programs. (In 18 years we’ve raised over $350,000!)

We have a great group of seamstresses, but we can’t keep up with demand! All materials and supplies are provided, and we will give a short training course in how to make our pot holders. And we have fun doing this great project!

The most consistent source of funds is from the sale of our world-famous potholders. Not only are the potholders available from local businesses and our rescue shelter, they are also sold at our fundraiser events.

OUR POTHOLDERS

Our potholders are available in a variety of colors and patterns, primarily dog and cat prints, flowers, tea and coffee, kitchen and garden themes. They make excellent gifts, or buy them for your own kitchen. They come in sets of two, and are made of sturdy cotton fabrics with a mylar heat-shield center.
